What is included in your pricing?

We have a venue booking that includes use of the space, tables, chairs, choice of linens, arbor, fabric in rafters, sound system, setup, breakdown and cleaning. We also offer an inclusive package that includes everything listed above plus catering, decor, coordination, photography, DJ and bride’s cake.

How long do I have access to the space?

That depends on the type of rental.  For weddings, you have access from 8 am to midnight on the day or days rented.  For showers, you have access from noon to 6 pm.  Other events depend on the amount of time needed.  Please contact Loft 212 for more information.

What is your cancellation policy?

Once you have booked by paying a deposit, you may cancel, but the deposit is non-refundable and you may be subject to a prorated cancellation fee.  If you cancel within the last 2 weeks, we have the right to retain the full rental amount.  We do offer one date transfer if the date booked needs to be changed to a new date or event is postponed (based on availability).

Do I have to use your preferred vendors?

No, we have listed preferred vendors on our website to help you find talented, reliable vendors.  However, if you choose to serve alcohol at your event, you are required to use our third party bartending service.

What is included in the alcohol service fee?

Our Alcohol Service is an additional service that we offer.  For liability reasons, you must use our approved third party bartending service.  The fee that is added to the cost of the venue covers the use of our bar for serving, licensing and liability insurance coverage, bartender for 4 hours for weddings, delivery, setup and cleaning.  Cost of drinks served are purchased separately from the bartending service. For guest counts 150-249, 2 bartenders are included and for guest counts 250+, 3 bartenders are included.

Is a flip of the space required?

No!  If your wedding size is below 225, a flip is generally not required.  For weddings and receptions with 225 or more, a flip of the ceremony space is generally required to provide additional seating for the reception.  You can choose to flip the ceremony space for additional space for any size wedding.  The cost is $250 and takes our staff approximately 15-20 minutes.

How far in advance should I book?

We typically book dates close to 9-12 months in advance, however, some dates book much earlier.  Some dates are more popular than others.  Once you have chosen a venue and a date, we recommend booking as quickly as possible because there is no guarantee that your date will remain available.

Can I book online?

After you have toured, we can complete the booking with an online invoice and electronic signature contract.  Of course, you are always welcome to book in person as well, but there is no need to make a special trip back to the venue if it is not convenient for you.

What is the price for a wedding reception only?

Wedding receptions are the same price as ceremony and receptions at Loft 212.  You will have access to use our bride and groom’s suites throughout the day since most ceremony sites are not setup to accommodate bridal parties.

When do you give tours?

Generally, we give tours Monday-Friday, 8 am - 2 pm and Saturday, 8 am - 11am.  After hours appointments are also available.  These times can vary based on event schedule.  Please use our online scheduling tool or contact us at (256) 347-4717 to schedule your tour!

Where is your parking?

We are in a downtown location.  There is street parking on the North and West sides of our building.  This typically accommodates events with guest counts of 150 or below.  There is also a parking deck located directly across the street from our entrance that is free parking and can accommodate all additional parking.  The entrance to the lower level is 1/2 block off of Hwy 278 on 3rd Ave SW.

Do you have noise Restriction in your area?

No, we are located in the downtown central business district and there is not a noise ordinance in place.  Most events finish no later than 11 pm to allow for cleanup, however additional hours can be purchased if needed.

Can I decorate myself?

Yes, if you book the Venue + Package option, you have the option to book your own vendors.  This also allows you to decorate yourself if you want.  Although it is more expensive, we highly recommend our 2 day rental option if you plan to handle decorations yourself.  You will have access the day prior to your wedding to handle decorations so the day of your wedding will be less stressful!
